Template:Images Template:Minigame Hyrule Hotfoot is a minigame featured in A Link Between Worlds. Operated by a pair of Racing Bros, the aim of the game is to race from the Racing Bro northeast of Lake Hylia to the Racing Bro behind the Miner's House within a time limit. There are three main difficulties to the game.
On the beginner difficulty, the player is given 75 seconds, with the reward being 100 Rupees. On the intermediate difficulty, the player is given 65 seconds, with the reward being a Piece of Heart. The advanced difficulty allows the player to try to beat their best time, netting 300 Rupees per successful attempt.
The game's general rules require that Link make it to the goal on foot. The Racing Bro at the Miner's House will disqualify any attempt where Link uses Irene's broom to warp to a weather vane to create a shortcut. However, only in Hyrule will Irene's broom disqualify an attempt[1]; the Racing Bros apparently cannot detect Link using the broom in Lorule and will pay out a reward even if Link takes a shortcut in Lorule to reach the finish line.

- ↑ "Congratulations! You made it to the goal! Or so I would have said, buddy. But you took a shortcut. C'mon now, admit it. You flew on a broom. You have to RUN here, or else you won't claim any prizes, even if you do get here within the time limit. Sorry to say you didn't qualify this time, but I look forward to your next broom-free attempt." — [[Racing Bro near Miner's House]] (A Link Between Worlds)
