Hydromelons are items in Breath of the Wild.[1]

Description
This resilient fruit can flourish even in the heat of the desert. The hydrating liquid inside provides a cooling effect that, when cooked, increases your heat resistance.

Heat Resistance

Hydromelons can be used by Link to restore half of a Heart. When Hydromelons are cooked into food, it will give Link Heat Resistance when eaten.[1] If a Hydromelon comes into contact with fire, it will turn into Roasted Hydromelon, which restores three-quarters of a Heart. At the Kochi Dye Shop, Hydromelons can be used to make Green Dye.
