The Ho Ho Tribe is a group of seven "telescope"-wielding, treasure-seekers in Phantom Hourglass. They are based on Old Man Ho Ho from The Wind Waker. They originate from the land of Wayaway and now sail in a ship in search of treasure.

In the game, they buy a specific treasure from Link that changes from time to time, for more money than the Teller of Treasures found on Mercay Island. They can be found on the Southeastern quarter of the world map. The amount they offer and the item they seek changes at midnight on the internal clock of the Nintendo DS.

Also, during the Phantom Hourglass trading sequence, Hoiger Howgendoogen, the one that doesn't have a telescope, will trade Link a kaleidoscope for an Adventurer's Book. When not looking through his telescope, his right eye will be bloodshot red, likely from looking through the telescope too much.
