Hikkun are strange enemies found exclusively in Four Swords.[1]

Characteristics

Hikkun are slow moving, shelled creatures. Striking them with a sword causes them to retreat into their shells. To defeat them, the Links must then pull their two halves apart until they break. Each Link must pull from either side in tandem for the creature to be defeated. On his own, a single Link cannot destroy these monsters. They appear to be closely related to Nokkun.

Trivia

Hikkun are often said to have one of the most gruesome deaths in the series, having to rip them apart to kill them.
