Headstone Island is the entrance to the Earth Temple in The Wind Waker.[1]
Features
Headstone Island
There's a mountain around there... and a similar one way up north.
Headstone Island is a desert type island which consists of a large main island, and several small sea stacks. The island cavern is blocked by a giant head-shaped stone that Link cannot blow up with Bombs alone. The only way Link can move it is to get the Power Bracelet located inside Fire Mountain. Once inside, the young hero will learn the Earth God's Lyric, which he must conduct for Medli to gain entrance to the Earth Temple itself.
A Piece of Heart is located on top of the island; however, Link must use a Hyoi Pear to control a Seagull and obtain it. It's interesting to note that while Link is controlling a seagull here, he may uncover a few hidden Rupees in front of the cave entrance by commanding the seagull to dive into the sand.
