Flare Dancer

The Flare Dancer is a miniboss that appears twice in the Fire Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Link sustains damage if he is hit directly by the Flare Dancer, or if he treads on the fire trail that is left as the miniboss circles the room.

The Flare Dancer can be easily defeated by pulling its core out of its body of fire and striking it with the sword. It then jumps back into the furnace in the center of the room and recombines with its body. Repeating this process will result in the Flare Dancer being defeated.
