The Fisherman's Jumping Game is a Mini-Game in Majora's Mask.[1]

Location

When Link completes the Great Bay Temple, he returns to Great Bay Coast where he can find an abandoned boat and a Sign in a small reef near a Like Like. The Sign encourages tourists to take the boat ride to inquire about the Fisherman's Jumping Game.[1] As Link takes the boat, it automatically sails towards a small archipelago in the northern part of the coast; Link must use the Hookshot on a Tree to reach the islands, where he will find the Fisherman running a Mini-Game. The boat will only be available to take from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM.[verification needed]

Rules

The Mini-Game takes place on a set of five small islands in a cross shape, with an unlit Torchlight in the outer four. The Fisherman tells Link to stand on the center island,[2] and proceeds to explain the rules of the game: One of the four Torchlights in will be lit, and Link must jump to the island with that Torchlight is before the flame disappears. A different Torchlight will then be lit, and Link must continue jumping to the next island. Each time he successfully lands on an island before the Torchlight goes out, he gains one point. Link has two minutes to gain points; if he manages to score 20 points or more, he will win a Piece of Heart.[3] The price for each try is 20 Rupees. If Link misses an island and falls into the water, he automatically loses.[4]
