Template:Character Festari is a character in The Minish Cap.

Biography

Festari is a Forest Minish who guards the entrance to Deepwood Shrine from his abbey in the northern section of Minish Village[1]. He is the only Forest Minish who speaks human languages, however, it is unknown if he is, exclusively, the only Minish that can do so, considering any subsequent meeting with a member of the Minish race occurs after Link has eaten the Jabber Nut, upon which point all Minish, regardless of region, speak in a tongue Link can understand. He directs Link to the location of the Jabber Nut, which is, hence, a peculiar item that allows Link to speak and understand the Picori Language. After Link finds and eats the Jabber Nut, he then directs Link to speak to the Minish Elder, Gentari, before he moves aside to allow passage into the Deepwood Shrine.[2]
