Epheremelda is a humanoid fairy that only appears in Shotaro Ishinomori's A Link to the Past comic published in Nintendo Power. She serves as Link's companion during his quest to save Zelda. In the comic, Epheremelda appears after Link retrieves the Master Sword in the Lost Woods and after he fights Agahnim for the first time. Link saves Epheremelda from a group of thugs who want to abuse her magic. It then seems that her father is a River Zora who then implants Link with a Zora Mask. Later on she leaves Link when Link and Zelda make a wish on the Triforce and she is never seen again.
