Template:Character Dodoh is a character in Skyward Sword who runs a minigame on an island in the sky called Fun Fun Island. In the minigame, Link must launch high up in the air and attempt to earn Rupees by passing through score multipliers and landing on a small, colored square on a huge spinning wheel.[1] Dodoh promises to give the young hero a special prize (a Piece of Heart) if he passes through all five multipliers and land on the 50-Rupee space.
Biography
Dodoh lives on an island called Fun Fun Island an island that he created as place where people could have fun. At first he his still making his final preparations.[2] However, after obtaining Scrapper the Ancient Robot, he will be found in a depressed mood. Dodoh tells Link he had lost the Party Wheel he pinned to his back because it flew off his back and went beneath the clouds.[3] Link agrees to look for it and finds the party wheel in the Lanayru Desert region. After bringing it back to Dodoh through Scrapper, he will be so happy that five Gratitude Crystals will be given to Link. Link is also allowed to be the first person to play Dodoh's High Dive for free.[4]
Etymology
Dodoh's name is likely based on the Dodo bird.
