The Digging Mitts are an item in Skyward Sword.
Location and Uses
The mitts are received from a Mogma in the Eldin Volcano, after Link routs a horde of Bokoblins that invaded the underground cavern accessible after exploding a lava hole to lower the lava's level on a segment of the area. The mitts are used to dig through dirt, similar to the Mole Mitts in The Minish Cap. Being an equipment-based item, they're perpetually worn on Link's hands, so when a soft spot is nearby, simply pressing the A button will make Link dig that spot. An upgrade for the Digging Mitts can be found in the Volcano Summit, called the Mogma Mitts.
