Deku Flowers are recurring Objects in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][name references needed] Deku Flowers go unnamed in Ocarina of Time.
Location and Uses
Ocarina of Time
Deku Flowers serve no purpose except as places Deku Scrubs can hide if Link gets too close to them in Ocarina of Time.
Majora's Mask
Deku Flowers can be used while Link is wearing the Deku Mask in Majora's Mask. They allow Deku Link to fly around using two flower-helicopters. Two types of Deku Flowers can be found. Yellow Deku Flowers allow Link to go further and higher than the pink ones, and are usually inhabited by Business Scrubs.
Deku Flowers play an important role in Woodfall Temple and are used to reach far places that often hold items such as Pieces of Heart. They are also used in the Deku Scrub Playground, where Link can play a minigame based entirely on using them to get from platform to platform. Deku Flowers can also be used to defeat or stun certain enemies and bosses, such as Odolwa and Snappers.
Other Appearances
Majora's Mask (Himekawa)
Trivia
- Blast Blooms from Oracle of Seasons are also called Deku Flowers in the official game's website.[2]
