Ummm... should we also include the Minisodes, Like The Gloffice (Minisode), Armos Banter, Elf vs. Wild, and Dirty Old Man Dancing? I mean, it would help... Purpose

First off, I would like to say that I am not stating that this article should be deleted. I am simply asking why it was made in the first place. I like The Legend of Neil, it is definitely different than 99.9% of Zelda parodies out there. It is made more professionally and cleanly. But, ZeldaWiki.org doesn't have an article about the Zelda parody "The True Legend of Zelda" cartoon, or any other parody unless it is directly connected to Nintendo. If the actors were, say, from the official Zelda cartoon and this is another work, then I can see why it was made. But, unless there is a direct connection (canon and not-canon alike), I don't see why this was made other then perhaps because we like it. By itself, "liking" something shouldn't merit its own article. Perhaps there is a direct connection which I simply was unaware of, I don't know. Yruag 01:13, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You actually make an excellent point. I think the reason we have this over the real legend (which, for the record, I effing LOVE) and such is because it's so professionally done, which you mentioned. While I don't know what the intentions of the original creator of the article were, I think it doesn't really matter because of how professional and widely known it is. I will say that you sorta blew my mind there :PUser:Justin ZW/sig 01:52, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
I could see why the article was made if the series was one that was "so big, it shaped the entire community", which I think it at least one of the possible reasons. Also, hi there Justin. Yruag 02:07, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Another valid argument. And hello, there, Yruag! Good to see such a well-mannered and educated new editor! Hope you stick around!User:Justin ZW/sig 02:19, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Well, Zelda Wiki does not only cover the official aspects of Zelda. We do also make a point of covering the community aspect of Zelda as well, hence the Community namespace. As such, I would think this article is justified, but definitely needs to be moved to the Community namespace. If we don't have articles on the parodies you mentioned, Yruag, then perhaps we should create them. — Hylian King [*] 06:09, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have always thought that the community section was reserved for the Master Minds and their affiliates. (I'm not as new as you may think.) Nonetheless, as I predicted, the article is going to stay one way or another. As for the parody I mentioned, I used it souly for an example and it is my preference that an article is not made about it. I think it is because I am some what of a perfectionist and do not want 273 articles on random parodies that no one has heard of. More so, the community section is a section of pure chaos. If the section was standardized and made neater, I wouldn't have as much of a problem with parody pages. Yruag 06:41, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
