Community:Nintendo of America v. Alex Jones

In October of 2000, Nintendo of America brought Link of Hyrule before WIPO in an attempt to wrestle the domain name "legendofzelda.com" from him.[1]
Through a lot of legal talk, in the end, Nintendo of America abandoned the case, and thus left Link of Hyrule with the domain name as it is today. Although it occurred twenty-two years ago, this lawsuit was still an active topic of discussion among LoZ.com Forumers till the site officially ceased to be Zelda-focused on June 22nd, 2011, and became Xero Gaming, a general gaming website.
