Clock Town is the largest town in Termina and is the centre of government for all Terminans. The town consists of four main sections, each named after one of the main compass directions, as well as a small area known as the Laundry Pool. Clock Town is located right in the centre of both Termina Field and the whole of Termina.

There are only 4 entrances into the town, each facing a different compass direction, and they are constantly guarded. However there is small, secret entrance through a tunnel from East Clock Town to the Astral Observatory. This entrance does not make the town particularly vulnerable though, due the tall fence that surrounds the observatory.

South Clock Town

South Clock Town is considered to be the main hub of the town, due its large size and the fact that it connects to every other section. It is also the location for the namesake and the main structure of Clock Town, the Clock Tower.

West Clock Town

West Clock Town forms the business district, as all the shops are located here, including the Bomb Shop and the slightly shady Curiosity Shop, which is only open after 10pm. West Clock Town is also the location for the Post Office, the Lottery Shop, the Trading Post, and Clock Town's bank, where anyone can take out an account with a maximum capacity of 5,499 rupees. The Swordman's School can also be found here for those who wish to improve there sword skills

East Clock Town

This is where the main tourist attractions are located, as well as the Stock Pot Inn for any travellers who wish to stay. Most of the businesses are gaming arcades such as Honey and Darling's Shop and the Town Shooting Gallery, however there is also the Milk Bar, a place for townsfolk and tourists alike to congregate and chat, as well as a venue for bands such as The Indigo-Go's to perform. The raised northern section is the location of the Mayor's Residence, as well as the entrance to the secret tunnel. At night, the Rosa Sisters practice their carnival dance.

North Clock Town

This area is the least busy of the main sections, and has no buildings. There is what appears to be a small play area for children in the north-east corner, and the Deku Scrub Playground is located down a hole in the south-west—right next to the entrance to Clock Town's Great Fairy's Fountain.

Laundry Pool

The Laundry Pool is the smallest section of Clock Town, located in the south-west corner, and is also the quietest: it is not unusual for you to find no-one in there but yourself. It does feature an entrance to an apartment in the back of the Curiosity Shop, but other than the pool itself that is it.

The Carnival of Time

Every year, people gather from all over Termina for the Carnival of Time. It is celebrated when the sun and the moon align to pay homage to the neverending progress of both nature and time, and to request fruitfulness for the next year. It is customary to celebrate the Carnival wearing a hand-carved mask that resembles the Four Giants, guardian spirits of Termina.

At midnight of the Carnival eve, the doors of the Clock Tower are opened. From atop the clock tower roof, a ceremony to call the gods is held. This involves singing an ancient song.

On the day of the carnival, there is usually very much to see around the town, such as musical performances. It is said that if a couple unites on the Carnival day, it will bring luck to them, so it's a popular day for weddings.
