This is a list of the characters from Zelda's Adventure, the non-canon game from the Philips CD-i. Link, Princess Zelda, and other characters that are part of canon are listed only with the information relevant to their place in the game.

Main Characters

Zelda

Zelda is once again the playable character like in The Wand of Gamelon, but her mood and personality is completely different.

Link

While Link was adventuring in Tolemac, he is captured by Ganon, forcing Zelda to go rescue him.

Ganon

Ganon is, like the others, very different from his other CD-i versions. He appears in the game as a final boss, but as a tall, grayish minotaur-like being. He has stolen the celestial signs and captured Link, prompting Zelda to defeat him.

Secondary Characters

Gaspra

An old wizard who is an astronomer in Tolemac. He learns of Ganon's conquest of Tolemac, and uses magic to summon Zelda. He gives her the magic pendant, which grants her the strength to fight against Ganon, and tells her to save the celestial signs and Link, and that each sign she acquires will give her knowledge. He then congratulates her for saving Tolemac after she does so, and says that the people of the land will never forget her.

Shurmak

Shurmak is Zelda's guide during the whole adventure. She will telepathically give her tips and introduce the dungeons and it's villains. She gave Gaspra a scroll revealing Ganon's conquering of Tolemac. She is only seen at the Seacoast Plain canyon, sitting in a red couch.

Sir Basil

File:Sirbasil2.pngSir Basil is a sword fighting trainer, and he's seen in the Plain of Hobel. He also gives Zelda the Broadsword item.

Other Characters

Beggar

Outside the Moblin's Head inn is a woman begging Zelda for a few rupees to feed her childern and keep them out of the cold for the night. Should Zelda give her 5 rupees, she'll give Zelda the Firestorm Spell.

Lothar the Innkeeper

Lothar is the innkeeper of the Moblin's Head Inn. He'll sell Zelda the Spell of Calm for 100 rupees.

Krebb the Weary

Speaking to Krebb in the Moblin's Head Inn allows Zelda to obtain the Dagger as well as receive a hint on how to cross the chasm in the Shrine of Earth.

Glebb the Thristy

After speaking to Glebb, she'll tell Zelda that she is dying of thrist and give Zelda the Empty Bottle. When she fills it with water from the "Source of the River" and gives it to Glebb, she'll be rewarded with the Vial of Winds.

Forest Trader

The Forest Trader is a merchant whose stall is set up in the Forest of Ogbam. He'll sell Zelda a Candle for 100 rupees and the Magic Shield for 500 rupees.

Shaggy Woman

The Shaggy Woman is a merchant whose stall is set up in the Great Town of Wimbich. She'll sell Zelda a candle for 100 rupees and the Life Potion for 200 rupees.

Talking Chest

A odd chest that talks and is found near the Orange Sardak battle area. This chest gives Zelda the Jade Ring item.

Yvonne

File:Evon.pngA woman who lives in the town of Wimbich and loves music. She will give Zelda a flute.

Twin Brothers

File:Twin.pngEric and Ian are identical twin brothers who live in Great Wimbich with their father, who cannot tell them apart.

Talking Mushroom

File:Talkingmush.pngThis giant mushroom lives in the forest of Findo, and says that Moblins are 'slow and stupid'.

Solitary Man

A man who is seen near the Shrine of Strength entrance, and says that no one comes to him anymore after Ganon had been taken over Tolemac.

Madame Kraggle

Madame Kraggle works in a magic shop in Wimbich. She sells magic items to Zelda. She is also a friend of Shurmak.

Waldensop

Waldensop is a man seen next to Forest of Torian house. He gives Zelda Aviana's Feather.

Yalzan

Yalzan is a man who opens a gate that leads into Aibon for 10 Rupees.

Yelena

This Aibon villager had once met with Link. She gives Zelda the fourth shirne's map and says that she could go with Zelda, but is not strong enough to join her journey.

Lonlyn

He lives in the eastern village nearby Torian. Gives Zelda 25 Rupees.
