The following files marked with {{Delete}} ostensibly require no further discussion and can be deleted immediately.

{{Delete}} may automatically add a file to this category when the following conditions are met:

  1. The file is unused.
  2. At least one of the following conditions are true:
    • The file page no longer has an actual file on it—this would occur if the file was moved to a new name.
    • The file type is not PNG—in this case we assume a PNG replacement was uploaded.

For administrators, here is a Pywikibot command that clears this category: 

pwb delete -cat:"Files ready for deletion"
