Hyrule Compendium Entry
337 (342) Lizal Bow
Description
A wooden bow created by Lizalfos. It's reinforced by the bones of a large fish— a marked improvement over any standard wooden bow.
Common Locations
Lanayru Great Spring
Lanayru Wetlands
Properties
Bow 14

Lizal Bows are Bows wielded by regular Lizalfos in the Lanayru Great Spring and Lanayru Wetlands. Fire-Breath Lizalfos, Ice-Breath Lizalfos, and Electric Lizalfos also use them on occasion. They were created by Lizalfos and reinforced with the bones of a large Fish.[1] Due to their origin, they are part of the Lizalfos Gear equipment archetype.[2] Their composition makes them superior to the standard Wooden Bow.[1]

Being made of wood, Lizal Bows will burn and eventually disintegrate if they are exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. They do not attract Lightning during Thunderstorms or conduct Electricity like metal Weapons do, and they will float if they are dropped in Water. Finally, they cannot be picked up using the Magnesis Rune.
