Zelda.com is the official Zelda site, owned by Nintendo. It has gone through many, many different designs and incarnations, and is widely considered lacking [citation needed]. It usually uses flash, and has an enormous, spam-filled community forum [citation needed].

Zelda.com is also known for lacking evidence, confusing different items and characters, and creating fanfiction. Some examples of this are:

-Says Agahnim imprisoned sages, not maidens.

-Says the Bombers have nothing better to do than cause trouble and goof around...as opposed to helping.

-Says the Carnival of Time is to remember every second should be savored...as opposed to it celebrating the allignment of the sun and the moon.

-Says tribe was imprisoned IN the Dark Mirror. Japanese text makes it clear they were just imprisoned BY the Dark Mirror [FSA]

-Says Death Mountain Crater is in LoZ, not OoT.

-Refers to aLttP Link as the Hero of Time [when talking about his sword]

-Says Ganon escapes the Sacred Realm on multiple occasions, and each time is re-sealed by Link and the Seven Sages.

-Says Ganondorf was the only male ever "allowed in" to the Gerudos, as opposed to one male being born every 100 years.

-Says Gleeock is a two-headed dragon...he's got three.

-Says the Golden Land was forever changed into the Dark World...it was "cured" in aLttP.

-Says WW Link's grandma gave him his tunic to help him on his journey...as opposed to giving it to him BEFORE his journey as a tradition.

-Claims that Link is called the Hero of Time in: LoZ, AoL, aLttP, LA, OoT, MM, OoA, OoS, FS, and MC.

-Makes up a legend about Impa chasing Gerudo thieves out of Kakariko.

-Claims that Sheik imprisoned an evil spirit in the Well, instead of Impa.

-Says Koholint is off the coast of Eastern Hyrule...Japanese text says it's a southern island.

-Says the creator of the Link Doll [AoL] was friends with the Hero of Time.

-States the Magic mirror teleports Link to the opposite world that he is in. However it only takes him out of the darkworld.

-Claims the "magic shield" and "magic sword" from AoL is the Mirror shield and Master sword. However there is not proof in the games of this claim.

-Claims Medli was a Rito Princess. In reality she was just an apprentice to be Valoo. Komali is the Prince of the rito

-Claims that "Megaton" is a brand name of hammers in Hyrule. However it is the name of a LEGENDARY hammer used by a Goron hero.

-Claims the portals to the dark world in Alttp was caused by the magic mirror

-States Rauru guarded the Pedestal of time.

-States Link Awakening happens after Majora's Mask. "Pendants of Virtue

The Pendant of Courage, the Pendant of Power and the Pendant of Wisdom are collectively known as the Pendants of Virtue. When Link returned from his adventure in Termina, hundreds of years had passed in Hyrule and the Master Sword was hidden within the Lost Woods. To re-prove himself and demonstrate that he was worthy of the Master Sword, Link had to collect all three Pendants of Virtue."

-Claims Ganon did not die at the end of Alttp. Instead he just stayed sealed in the dark world.

-Claims Rauru built the temple of time.

-Says Romani "once lived in Termina" as if she ever left.

-Calls Saria an "elfin child of the Kokiri Forest"

-They make up Fan-fiction to explain the creation of Termina, which is never explored in-game. "When Hyrule was created by the three goddesses at the beginning of time, there were certain side effects of its creation which Din, Nayru and Farore did not anticipate. As the three holy women breathed life into the world and chased away Emptiness, their potent breath slipped through tiny cracks in the folds of space and created millions of alternate worlds in the process. One of these worlds became the land known as Termina."

-Says the tingle tower in TWW was to humor weary travelers.

-Claims Zola are violent female Zora.

-Claims Zoras were made because the Goddesses blessed Zora's Domain. Never mentioned in any game.

Hopefully this has shown that Zelda.com is unreliable. Nothing on that site can be used as evidence or proof. As they make mistakes or create fanfiction at every turn.
