Calamity Strikes

Game Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Calamity Strikes is a Scenario in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.[name references needed]

Overview

Before the Scenario, Zelda gets ready to go to Mount Lanayru on her 17th birthday so that her power to seal Calamity Ganon would awaken.[1] However, before they can depart, Calamity Ganon awakens.[2]

Zelda realizes that her father, King Rhoam, is in Hyrule Castle, and the party goes to rescue him.[3] While running towards the castle, Calamity Ganon captures the Guardians and sends two Guardian after the party.[4] After reaching the Sanctum, they find a Guardian attacking a Hylian Captain. Defeating the Guardian, two more Guardians drop from the ceiling. After again defeating these Guardians, they ask the Hylian Captain where King Rhoam went; the Hylian Captain explains that he fled through the back entrance.[5] They try to go outside Hyrule castle through the back entrance, in hopes of coming together.

After beating several monsters, they will meet King Rhoam. However, he then gets surrounded by three Guardian Stalkers, and tells Link to leave with Zelda. Links does as he is ordered, while Zelda keeps telling Link to let go. Three Guardian lasers could be heard in the distance.

Strategy

Rescue King Rhoam

Once you go into the Sanctum, there will be a Guardian Stalker you need to fight. However, this one is weaker than the one at "Road to the Ancient Lab". You should attack it and deflect its lasers, and it should be beaten easily.

Defeat the White-Maned Lynel

You will meet a White-Maned Lynel near the goal. It will be very hard to defeat, as it has more HP, but it attacks just like the Lynel at Ploymus Mountain. Pay attention to the Sheikah runes and dodge when attacked. Bring a lot of apples, as you will take a lot of damage it attacked.
