Giant Ancient Cores are recurring Items in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]
Location and Uses
Breath of the Wild
Giant Ancient Cores are a very rare drop from Guardians. They can also be obtained from Treasure Chests in Shrines.
Two Giant Ancient Cores are needed for the fourth upgrade of each piece of the Ancient Set at a Great Fairy Fountain. They can also be used to create Ancient Bows at the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab.

Giant Ancient Cores are very rare drops on the battlefield, as well as buyable items from Merchants. The mysterious hooded figure is also seen wielding a staff that has one corrupted by Malice as its main part.
