Gruve

Biography
Gruve is a citizen of Zora's Domain who is first encountered by Link at the Lanayru Tower in the Lanayru Wetlands. Gruve explains that Prince Sidon is looking for a Hylian,[1] and that he is waiting for said Hylian on the bridge situated directly below Lanayru Tower. [2] Gruve tells Link that he fell asleep on the job and woke up at the top of the tower he is currently standing on.[3]Gruve considers jumping off the tower in either to be reunited with Prince Sidon, [4] but he finds that he is simply to frightened to do it.[5] Gruve encourages Link to proceed without him and descend to the bridge where Prince Sidon is waiting. [6]
He can be found later by a waterfall on the second level of Zora's Domain. He tells Link that after he was left at Lanayru Tower, he finally worked up enough courage to jump down into the river below and return home.[7] Gruve describes his jump off the tower as deeply moving,[8]
