Linebeck
Linebeck is a character featured in game The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. He is the Captain of the steamboat which Link uses to travel the seas. He agrees to help Link to find Tetra and the mysterious ship because the ship contains a treasure which he seeks.
Template:Spoiler After it is revealed that the treasure of the Phantom Ship doesn't exist, Linebeck decides to no longer allow Link to use his ship. He has a change of heart, however, when Umiou, the Sea King, promises to grant him one wish if he helps Link.
When Link is captured by Bellum, Linebeck uses the Phantom Blade to free him. However, Bellum soon takes control of him, turning Linebeck into a monstrous knight akin to a Phantom, and forcing him to fight Link as the final boss. Link eventually triumphs, freeing Linebeck and defeating Bellum.
At the conclusion of the game, Linebeck's wish is to have his previously sunken boat fixed, and the final scene of the game is his boat sailing away.
