Goomba
Goombas are the most common enemy in the Mario games, but also in Link's Awakening as enemies in the side-scrolling part of the dungeons. Goombas have been a part of the Mario series since the very first game. Since then Goombas, along with Koopas. have become the most well known enemies of the series. Goombas are the lowest creatures in the Koopa Troop, but there are also societies of more civilized Goombas.
