Tornado Rod
The Tornado Rod is an item appearing in A Link Between Worlds.
Use
The Tornado Rod is used mainly to lift Link into the air for a few seconds. He cannot move while in the air, but he can drop onto moving platforms that pass under him. The large whirlwind that he creates when he uses it can also throw other objects into the air, including enemies, stone tiles and some items in trees. It is also mandatory for entering the House of Gales.
It can be upgraded to the Nice Tornado Rod by bringing it to Mother Maiamai with 10 baby Maiamais. This upgraded version has a bigger gust radius, and deals more damage.
Location
This item is obtainable right after Ravio opens his shop. It costs 50 rupees to rent it, and 800 rupees to buy it.
