The Mirror of Truth is an item featured in Hyrule Warriors. Similar in appearance to the Lens of Truth, it is used to reveal people's true identity and resides within the Water Temple in the Lake Hylia stage.

Story

When Impa suspects that the Princess Zelda commanding the Dark Forces is an impostor, she urges her soldiers to not listen to the fake princess's commands to stop their attack against the monsters pouring from the Water Temple. In light of this, Princess Ruto suggests that they use the Mirror of Truth, located somewhere in the Water Temple, to reveal the identity of the impostor.[1] While the Hyrulean Forces advance to the inside of the temple, the Zora Princess goes underwater to search for the relic.[2] Ruto easily infiltrates the temple from underneath and finds the Mirror of Truth, but before she rejoins with her allies, Zelda closes the Central Hall and imprisons her.[3][4] Seeking help from the Hyrulean Forces, Ruto instructs them to open the floodgates inside the temple in order to free her.[5] Pulling the two floodgate switches found in the Southeast and Southwest Room of the temple recedes the water from the Central Hall, allowing the allies to rescue the Zora Princess from within. She hands over the Mirror of Truth to Sheik before she retreats from the battlefield.

Using the newly acquired relic, the room where the impostor and the Gate of Souls are located is revealed, and the Hyrulean Forces quickly engage in combat with the impersonated princess.[6] Sheik then uses the Mirror of Truth to reveal the identity of the faker: Wizzro.[7][8]
