Formatting

Might I suggest removing the <BR> tag from the top of this page's code? Even though it's inside of <noinclude> tags, it seems that it is being included, and it causes a really awkward-looking blank line on the front page right below the section's header. -TPIRFanSteve 22:50, 24 August 2012 (EDT)

The space was caused by the empty second line. It should be fixed now. Thanks for pointing that out! — Hylian King [*] 08:49, 25 August 2012 (EDT)

Not sure what's causing it, but there's another large gap at the top of this thing on the front page. -TPIRFanSteve 20:34, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Fixed. Those pesky newlines... — Hylian King [*] 22:20, 17 July 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Formatting redux

Gonna suggest a formatting change for the current content:

<noinclude>{{News Archive}}<br></noinclude> *'''July 26, 2014''': NOW HIRING! :Zelda Wiki is now hiring! Are you passionate about The Legend of Zelda and want to share your knowledge of the series? Then consider helping out the internet's largest resource for information about all things Zelda. Anyone can edit, but we need experts to ensure that our articles are correct and meet certain quality standards. Here's what we're looking for: :;Content Controllers ::You'll be responsible for checking edits made to pages (patrolling), fact-checking including adding references and sources, and ensuring that the Wiki's quality standards are kept. You'll also have to do a bit of cleanup sometimes, such as removing duplicate images. You should be fluent in English and knowledgeable about Zelda. Perfectionist-types would be well-suited for this role! :;Techies ::We're also looking for technical staff. We're working on a redesign of the Wiki at the moment and would love some front-end developers to help with that. We also need someone to help out with server maintenance as well. ::Previous experience with MediaWiki is a plus, but not essential. For any role on Zelda Wiki you'll need to be able to work as part of a team, be available regularly and use our online staff chatroom for communication. Please note that Zelda Wiki is run entirely by volunteers and so we can't pay you for your work. :If you think you'd be a good fit for one of these roles, send an email to webmaster@zeldawiki.org with your name, age, and contact details, and tell us what you'd like to do for Zelda Wiki and why you'd be good at it. Make sure to include any previous experience with other Wikis or Zelda websites.

No alterations to the content, but it majorly streamlines the announcement's appearance. TPIRFanSteve (talk) 01:33, 30 July 2014 (UTC)Reply[reply]
