Template:Character

Sokra is a wandering prophet[1] encountered in Template:OOS.

His role in the game is minimal, although Link must speak to him at least twice in his adventure. Sokra points Link in the right direction when it comes to the Temple of Seasons, and he also tells Link how to use the Rod of Seasons. He is very peaceful and usually spends his time sleeping close to the eastern exit of Horon Village or playing his guitar here as well, singing simple melodies.

Trivia

  • Freedle is a similar whimsical, mandolin-playing character that appears in Phantom Hourglass.
  • Sokra bears some similarly to the Blues Brothers. Sokra wears sunglasses, is dressed in black, is a musician, and is a traveling prophet. The Blues Brothers wear sunglasses, are dressed in black, are musicians, and are on traveling on a "mission from God".
