Rock Sirloin
Template:Item Rock Sirloin is a premium type of rock that Gorons love to eat. It is mentioned in both Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, but can only be acquired in Majora's Mask. Even so, it is not picked up and added as a C-item, but must be carried to its ultimate destination of the Mountain Village, where a weak, hungry Goron will eat it and reward Link with Don Gero's Mask.
Gourmet top sirloin rocks can only be found in the Dodongo's Cavern, the quarry of the Gorons.[1][2] They're so delicious, in fact, that when the Gorons are cut off from their supply they can't stomach rocks from anywhere else.[3] Interestingly, the Terminan Rock Sirloin also comes from Dodongo's Cavern, though exactly how that is possible is something of a mystery; however, the Goron that reveals this calls it "Dodongo Cavern" instead of "Dodongo's Cavern."[4] It can also be obtained, apparently, under in the soil that had been inaccessible beneath the ice during the long winter.[5]
The great Goron hero Darmani was apparently known for his affinity for rock sirloin. He often said that he couldn't die until he'd eaten 1000 tons of rock sirloin,[6] and the Goron Elder's Son claims that Darmani used to like racing even more than he liked eating a third helping of rock sirloin.[7]
