Template:Dungeons Demon is the seventh labyrinth in The Legend of Zelda.

The Dungeon Entrance

In the First Quest, the dungeon is located in a fountain where a fairy should be ("there are secrets where fairies don't live"), but it can only be revealed with the melody of the Recorder. In the Second Quest, it's located one square west from where the Lion Labyrinth used to be in the first quest.

Being green-colored, the dungeon is considered to be much easier than the sixth labyrinth, mainly because there are no Wizzrobes; in fact, the majority of the enemies are actually Goriyas, and even one of them will hinder Link's progress if he doesn't give him food. This dungeon is the very first where a room may not be displeyed in the screen map (but it'll be in the map subscreen after it's discovered). The only way to discover this oddity is by bombing the east wall of the room west from the apparently non-existent space ("there is a secret in the tip of the nose", despite the fact that the dungeon's "nose" resembles an "eye" in the map, so the "nose" referred to as such might be actually where the fragment of the Triforce is, as hinted by the compass, or the hidden staircase in the upper right hand corner that leads to the Triforce). Hidden within the dungeon is an Old Man who will increase Link's bomb capacity for only 100 rupees. The main item is the Red Candle, which allows Link to leave two torches at one time; also, the boss is Aquamentus, which served as the very first boss of the game, and marks the first time a dungeon no longer houses a new boss.

Second Quest

The dungeon has changed completely in the Second Quest, retaining nothing except being again the seventh in the in-game order and that the red Candle is again the main item. The dungeon vaguely resembles a spiral, being actually more similar to an upside down at sign (@). The bricks are white-colored, resembling the Lion and Death Mountain labyrinths in this regard. The Darknut is a very common enemy here, and two thieving Old Men ("give me the money or your life") are found as well, so it's recommended to have at least 100 Rupees before entering the dungeon. The boss is a four-headed Gleeok, its toughest incarnation in the entire game.
