Template:Sources

Scrapper is a robotic character featured in Skyward Sword. He is one of a race of Ancient Robots who can be found primarily in the Lanayru Province.

Appearance and Features

Link encounters Scrapper first in the Skyloft Bazaar in Gondo's stall, but he is broken down. Gondo says that his grandfather owned the Ancient Robot and its name was Scrapper. He said Scrapper helped his grandfather pick up and move items across the islands of the sky, but one day Scrapper stopped working. So now Gondo has been working to fix him ever since. Link can only activate him through a series of events after he has found out that the pinwheel for a windmill on Skyloft is missing. The only way to fix him is by getting an Ancient Flower and giving it to Gondo.

Gondo is able to repair Scrapper immediately after receiving the flower. Scrapper does not seem to like Link, and refuses to help him in any way. His mind is changes, however, when he sees Fi, and is infatuated by her. He claims he will do anything to please Fi and agrees to help Link because she is with him. He calls Fi 'Mistress Fi' and Link "Master Short-Pants". He also seems to be irritated with Link for carrying around Fi, and isn't shy about expressing his dislike for him.

Scrapper can help Link carry large and heavy objects through the sky and other lands, this means of transport is required to complete many of the sidequests for the various characters through Skyward Sword.

Trivia

• Scrapper is currently the only Ancient Robot that is current active in the present.
