Template:Dungeons Located in Eastern Hyrule, Three Eye Rock Palace is the sixth dungeon in The Adventure of Link, and is visited by Link during his quest to place one of the shards of the Magic Crystal to its lectern to find unseal the entrance of the dungeon right west of this one to find the third fragment of the Triforce and rouse Princess Zelda from her unnatural slumber.

Entrance to the Palace

The dungeon is hidden near the three rocks found in the coast of Eastern Hyrule, east from Old Kasuto Town. It can be accessed anytime when Link plays the Flute in that area.[1] However, it requires Link to have the Magical Key from New Kasuto Town, as no keys are here to open the locked doors within.

Themes and Navigation

This palace is made of pink-colored bricks, and is one of the only two dungeons (the other being Great Palace) that has fake floors (that is, hidden holes); it's also notable for being the only one with a mini-boss, Iron Knuckle boarding a vehicle, who is fought twice. Beating him the first time allows Link to gain the Cross, useful to see invisible enemies. After the second victory, Link finds an extra life and the path leading to the reincarnation of Volvagia, after its decease in Death Mountain in a past life. Interestingly, both Volvagia and Iron Knuckle still leave small keys after defeat, despite Link not needing them anymore.
