Lake Hylia features most famously in Ocarina of Time (although is it also seen in several other games). It is the largest body of water in Hyrule, a vast lake containing a hidden temple that goes by the name of the Water Temple. You can use the Iron Boots to sink to the bottom of the Lake to discover a few secrets. On the shore of the lake there is the Observatory, which is home to an old man that watches you when you dive in his oversized tank. Many Guays roam this place, and can get very frustrating when you're trying to get somewhere. Also on the shore of Lake Hylia there is a scarecrow named Pierre who helps you obtain the Scarecrow's song. There is also a fishing hut, where you can fish to your heart's content for only 20 Rupees a time. You also you obtain the fire arrows from here.
