Tokkey is an eccentric researcher in Oracle of Ages. He lives in Labrynna, in a cave hidden through the lake on Talus Peaks (near Symmetry City).

Tokkey is trying to create a tune that will cause the one who plays it to revert from the past age to the present age. However, his research lacks a certain tune that will give his tune time-traveling abilities. He knows a riddle that tells him what the tune is, but he cannot seem to figure it out.[1] If Link plays the correct tune for him on the Harp of Ages, it helps him complete his research. The research yields the "Tune of Currents".

After he composes the "Tune of Currents", Tokkey leaves his cave.

Trivia

  • Tokkey's name is remarkably similar to Tokay, the name of the race of reptile-like beings from the same game. This is a coincidence resulting from the choices made by the localization team, which chose to 'translate' トカゲ人 as Tokay and トッキー as Tokkey. The names have little in common in the original version.
