Template:Character Mamu is a frog-like creature from Link's Awakening. He teaches Link the third and final song for the Ocarina, the "Frog's Song of Soul".

Mamu resides in the pond beneath the Signpost Maze. After paying the 300 Rupees fee to listen to his jam, Link will learn the "Frog Song of Soul". remarks that the ones who hear the song feel more alive. Mamu cannot be revisited as him and his Frog Choir are away on tour according to the sign outside the pond.

Trivia

Mamu's first appearance was outside a Zelda game, in the American version of Super Mario Bros. 2. His name was Wart in that game, and his name in Link's Awakening is his Japanese name.
