Stalfos

An enemy that Link has faced since the original The Legend of Zelda, the skeleton-knights known as Stalfos have always been a test of Links skills and cunning. Ocarina of Time saw Stalfos warriors armed with a shield and sword. These enemies required all of Link's concentration and swordsmanship skills. The Wind Waker saw Stalfos as large, club wielding dinosaur-like skeletons, easily broken with explosives, but difficult to defeat with the sword. Twilight Princess once again re-introduces these classic enemies, this time humanoid, but armoured and carrying various types of shields and blades. There are also stronger Stalfos known as "Stalfos Knights". They're burly, and will require you to use your bomb on them, once taken down.
