Guardian Acorn

Guardian Acorna are small, golden acorn that are occasionally dropped by enemies in Link's Awakening. When Link touches one, the acorn halves all damage Link takes for a certain amount of hits. Its duration is only denoted by unique music. It is one of two temporary upgrades available in Link's Awakening, the other being Piece of Power.
In certain other games, the Blue Ring or Red Mail give the same effect.
