Natie
Natie is a character in Breath of the Wild.[1]
Biography
Natie is a Korok who runs the Spore Store, a Mushroom Shop located within the Great Deku Tree in Korok Forest.[2] In anticipation of Link's arrival, Natie has been gathering Mushrooms for him.[3] They welcome Link to make a purchase or sell his Items.[4]
If Link asks where they are, Natie explains that they are technically inside the Great Deku Tree's stomach, which they warn him not to think too hard about.[5] Alongside Natie, two other Koroks set up Shops for Link inside the Great Deku Tree, which he allowed them to do.[6] Noticing that Link is bigger than them, Natie realizes that he may feel cramped.[7] Despite this, they encourage Link to enjoy his shopping.[8]
When Link buys one of Natie's Mushrooms, they will thank him and encourage him to eat it.[9][10][11] They will also be grateful that they thought to pick Mushrooms for him.[12] If Link buys all of one type of Mushroom, Natie thanks him and promises to collect more.[13] If Link buys all of Natie's stock, they will be surprised by how much he likes Mushrooms.[14] They promise to forage for more, but in the meantime, they offer to buy his Items.[15]
At the end of their conversations, Natie encourages Link to sell any of his Items to them, even if it is not a Mushroom.[16] When Link asks to sell to Natie, they ask what he wants to sell.[17] Natie encourages Link to sell to them, showing interest in what he has to offer.[18][19][20][21] When Natie makes a purchase, they may try to ask him to keep selling.[22][23] They also promise to take care of their Items they bought from Link.[24] Finally, after buying one of Link's Items, Natie will occasionally remark that he smells nice.[25]
