:By the way, who here has played Four Swords? I want to (actually, I need to) but I don't know anyone else with a copy, and I don't want to have to buy two, but I'm probably going to have to. Heh, is it playable with one person playing two GBAs at once? [[User:Rob 64|Rob 64]] 20:07, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

::I have a GBA ALttP which comes with both ALttP and 4 Swords...I should probably add that to may page. As for "butchering the Queen's language", let's remember it was you guys who persecuted the first founders of America. I find it fair we butcher your language for you ridiculous taxes. {{:User:Seablue254/sig}} 14:49, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Protip

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into that a bit later today. Would now, but I'm going to a movie :P

--Felicia's Champion, 9:06, 17 July 2008 (EST)

Ah

Finally, he's blocked. Those edits he made I couldn't even revert. I literally had to copy and paste everything from a former edit onto the new edit. --Felicia's Champion 02:52, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Whoa, seriously? He only made one edit to each of the pages that you reverted, though... Why couldn't you? Was it giving you some kind of error? User:Ando/sig 02:55, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Not exactly, but it wouldn't load up. Matt tells me he was trying to fix the vandalism by revision for thirty minutes. My method took about 2 minutes... --Felicia's Champion 02:57, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Six months? Seriously! This vandal is the evilest vandal I've ever seen. I've seen some bad ones before, especially on Wikipedia. But this one takes the grand prize. He should have had an infinite block. The pages just locked up and never loaded. Captain Cornflake tried and tried but couldn't get anything to load. I never thought of that other method. Fairly simple really.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:59, July 18, 2008 (UTC)

Ah, I took a closer look at the previous edits, and I see what you mean now. He made those pages absolutely huge so the server or something couldn't handle them. Wacky.
As for the block time, well, I've been thinking that maybe my constant indef-blocking is a little harsh (everyone else always blocks for like 3 or 6 months! so was I being too harsh by going indef?). But I guess that if my peers who would tell me that it's harsh are saying "why DIDN'T you do it" then I guess I should go edit his ban time then, huh? User:Ando/sig 03:27, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Infinite blocks might be harsh for some types of blocks. But this is a very dangerous user. We don't want him to be back here ever again. Destructive, and obviously evil, users should always be banned forever. That's what I think.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:32, July 18, 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. --Felicia's Champion 03:38, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry for not being here. I should have been at my compy to help revert these huge pages :( User:Seablue254/sig 14:18, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

No need to be sorry. We can't all be expected to be here all the time. Heck, I wasn't here - I was at a Scout meeting. User:Ando/sig 15:23, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Eww, he used that disgusting shock site picture. I think we better use Matt's article on removing embarrassment to prevent any vandals from getting ideas. User:Seablue254/sig 21:20, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah. If another vandal sees the huge pages in the history then they might get the idea to do that too. Here is that link again: Removing embarrassment. I suggest testing this on either the Zelda Universe article or the Video Gamer X article first to see if it actually removes the revision from the article's history, or if it simply makes the revision inaccessible. If it does remove it from the history, then go and delete every single revision that this vandal made.User:Mjr162006/sig 21:40, July 18, 2008 (UTC)
Do it on Video Gamer X's article. If something happens to destroy that article, we lost nothing of real importance. User:Seablue254/sig 22:29, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Will do later - just got back from THE DARK FREAKING KNIGHT WHICH WAS THE BEST EVER and now I've got stupid Friday night TV shows that I wanna watch. Arggh.
Don't think I won't be checkin' in, though, vandals. User:Ando/sig 01:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

So you saw the Dark Knight? I heard it was good, I can't wait to go see it. Anyways, since we're on the topic of movies and TV shows, I reccommened watching Hancock (Movie) and Total Drama Island (TV Show). User:Seablue254/sig 15:32, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Alright, well it was an incredibly easy and successful fix for the Video Game X article. I'll go do the rest of the edits-that-could-destroy-computers now. So I'll be temp-deleting user pages. :P User:Ando/sig 21:01, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
What did the vandal do--Rapido 21:20, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, for obvious reasons, we are not going to tell you exactly what he did. But he basically vandalized a few articles. Then other users reverted his edits. He then vandalized the user pages of those users. He inserted a great deal of nonsense into the pages. Most likely he did a lot of copy and pasting.User:Mjr162006/sig 21:33, July 19, 2008 (UTC)
Let's just say it included a certain shock site picture. He put it on certain pages, people stopped him, then he started vandalizing their pages. User:Seablue254/sig 22:32, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Whoa! We have another page that requires this surgery. The April 30th revisions on this page.User:Mjr162006/sig 14:10, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. I was reverting the guys edits, and back then when I was really rash, I took his flames, copy and pasted them back on his page, and said right back at ya, and signed it. Apparently he wasn't too happy ;) User:Seablue254/sig 14:27, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Infinite Ban

Zeldagirl101 wants one. Shes leaving. FOREVER. User:Seablue254/sig 19:55, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

If she brings it up I'll tell

If she says anything about it i'll be sure to tell her but If she dosnt ask then maybe she just dosnt care about zeldawiki.org anymore :'( but like I said if she brings it I'll be sure to tell her everything. Hope she does --Bubbles96 20:53, 19 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ok first of all it wasnt supposed to say that second of all I didnt post it and I am not naming anyone...but thx for deleting it! --Bubbles96 00:30, 21 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alright, but be careful next time. If you're having problems with people using your account to make edits or something, be sure to log out when you leave the computer. User:Ando/sig 00:32, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Either she's telling the truth, or she's pulling a Zanramon routine. User:Seablue254/sig 00:36, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

FA

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that you used that script to add another template, correct? So how many are we on? User:Seablue254/sig 12:54, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Yeah. We're up to 36 now. User:Ando/sig 12:58, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Got it. So say when we have the next one ready, you just write the template, redirect the next one to it, update the FA Template by filling it in to 37 and looking at result, and then if a sysop wasn't here and say, I did it, just tell you the main page is ready to be updated. Is that all good? Oh yeah, and add it to the achieves and clean up the page. That should be correct. User:Seablue254/sig 13:03, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Pretty much, only with the addition of making an FA/38 template as well (it should redirect to FA/37). User:Ando/sig 13:14, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Okay, now we've got 4 people ready. Me, you, Matt, and Adam. I'm pretty sure we won't be waiting long for a new featured article/picture. User:Seablue254/sig 13:16, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Did you forget? We already had an open slot for a featured article.User:Mjr162006/sig 13:42, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

I corrected most of the error. Our main page is blank now. So hurry up and fix it. It goes to FA/31. Remember that before the Pedestal of Time had four slots to it.User:Mjr162006/sig 13:56, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
Remember to always check this page before adding a featured article.User:Mjr162006/sig 14:02, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
Don't forget to set the featured picture back to rotation.User:Mjr162006/sig 14:18, July 21, 2008 (UTC)
Okay, Matt, when I use the file, do I take out ALL the code and copy and paste the result in? User:Seablue254/sig 14:29, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

You select and copy all the code on the result page. Then you paste it over the old code in the template.User:Mjr162006/sig 14:33, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Got it. Suddenly I feel important :D User:Seablue254/sig 14:34, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I know that we fixed that 4-PoT-entries thing a long time ago. Like, when Master Sword became featured. I have no idea what happened here.
Regardless, while I appreciate you catching this Matt, PLEASE wait until you know I'm online next time something like this happens. The main page had blank nothing for its featured article for five hours. Unacceptable. User:Ando/sig 18:51, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
I thought I still had both you and Mases when I asked. I asked Mases not but thirty seconds after his last edit but left before That. I was actually hoping you'd show sooner. I was going to ask one of the others that were always on the chatroom if you did not do it within an hour or so. But that whole delete template problem made me forget. Sorry.User:Mjr162006/sig 19:06, July 21, 2008 (UTC)

Vandal

Ea thinks 3 months, I think infinite. and you? User:Seablue254/sig 01:38, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Eh, I'd have done infinite myself. Timed blocks, to me, say "Well, you did wrong, so I hope that this teaches you your lesson." Whereas those who are here for the sole purpose of vandalizing and are probably beyond all possible hope of ever being a real human being should get an indefinite block. These are my thoughts, though, and the ZW policy DOES state that "block times are up to the discretion of the blocking administrator". User:Ando/sig 01:47, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
I honestly think he needs infinite. He's not going to learn his lesson. C'mon, he not only vandalizes important articles, but he calls ZeldaWiki shit and then curses me for reverting edits. Something tells me this isn't going to stop. User:Seablue254/sig 01:49, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree. I'm honestly not to worried about it, though. What are the odds that this person is actually going to remember in three months that their account isn't blocked anymore and that they can vandalize again? And are they going to even care given the speed with which the block was delivered? Something tells me that it won't happen. After all, a quick glance through the block log tells me that it's never happened in the history of the site. User:Ando/sig 01:53, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

I hope he forgets me... User:Seablue254/sig 01:55, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, well, well. I step away for a few hours and this happens. At least this one is not as bad as the last one. Here is a suggestion for something for Ando to do while I'm gone for about the next week or so: Look through the block records and check out the pages that have been vandalized. See if any of them are bad enough that the page history needs to be altered. I know the Seablue's talk page needs this. You don't have to do all this at once. I'm going to be gone for some time. I already talked about it here. Even though I'm actually leaving Wednesday (July 23), I am going to be busy with other things later on tomorrow (July 22). It is basically getting supplies and stuff for the trip. We might catch a movie though, and I think you've suggested the perfect one to see. So everyone, watch for vandals, hope for me that I wont get rained out like last time, and well, keep doing the improving the wiki stuff.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:24, July 22, 2008 (UTC)
As offensive as the [automatically generated] edit summaries of this vandal are, It might be a good idea to modify the page history on those pages too. I just don't like the idea of having those oh so "colorful" words in the edit history of some of our most important pages. Agreed?
By the way, I also suggest that you go no lower than three months for vandalism of this type. Just look how fast the few last two months have gone by. I can still remember little details like that from May and April. It is a little fuzzier a little farther back. I don't know if that will actually help you in deciding it. Perhaps we should make a block time guideline page. Then we could iron out the times on the page's talk page rather than have the talks about scattered all over the place. These are just my random thoughts. I tend to get a lot of the when I'm tired. but they often end up to be very useful later on.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:35, July 22, 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I wasn't worried about editing the histories of the pages but you bring a good point with the language in the edit summaries. I'd forgotten about that. I'll go track down the pages that contain some less... good... edit summaries and edit them out later tonight (fewer people are on at night to notice that the Link page has been mysteriously deleted for a short amount of time). User:Ando/sig 03:52, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

Maybe I should keep the newest vandalization on my page for the lulz.... User:Seablue254/sig 14:00, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
So I decided against fixing it. After thinking about it for a big, I didn't entirely see the gain. The "removing embarrassment" guide talks about removing things that could be potentially harmful (personal data, etc.), not necessarily undoing vandalism. No other Wiki does this as far as I know, and having to check off every one of the 700-something edits except those two for each of the big pages just seems like unnecessary work (there's no "invert selection" button. I've looked). With enough editing, it'll get bumped down so low that no one will notice anyway. :P User:Ando/sig 05:29, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

That sounds a little bit better.User:Mjr162006/sig 22:54, July 22, 2008 (UTC)
Shes not that stupid though... User:Seablue254/sig 22:56, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Correct, but the word is in there in English already. I don't know why.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:03, July 22, 2008 (UTC)
Maybe she thinks she's stupid... User:Seablue254/sig 23:12, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

More likely, it is merely an attempt an humor.User:Mjr162006/sig 23:18, July 22, 2008 (UTC)

Solving the Puzzle

Now that we have identified the exact cause of the problem with special pages showing nonexistent links (see here), we know have the responsibility of fixing the ParserFunctions extension itself. Countless wikis out there use it. As I said on the Hyrule Castle page, I'm having a discussion with an extension developer over at MediaWiki. But since I'm going camping, I'll be unable to continue said discussion until I return. The person I'm talking to might require more information. The page is Extension talk:ParserFunctions. Would it be possible for you to go there and continue the discussion for the next several days? I think you will only have to go there a few times each day. If you don't have an account at MediaWiki, then to the Wikipedia special page: Special:Preferences. Then click "manage your global account". Follow the simple instructions and you'll then have your Wikipedia username reserved on MediaWiki, as well all the other wikis of the Wikimedia Foundation.User:Mjr162006/sig 03:36, July 23, 2008 (UTC)

Done, sir. I'll keep up with the page at least daily, if not checking in a few times a day. User:Ando/sig 05:14, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Me too. I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge, getting help here whenever I need be. User:Seablue254/sig 14:26, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Soulcalibur poll

Just to remind you, your poll closes tomarrow. GunMetal Angel 18:41, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Don't worry, he knows! He is a sysop after all ;) User:Seablue254/sig 18:51, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Haha, regardless of whether I remembered or not, it's nice to have a reminder. Now there's no way I can forget. :P User:Ando/sig 18:56, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
That works. Anyway, I believe the score (From when I last saw it) is 3 for Soulcalibur II, and 1 for Soul Calibur II User:Seablue254/sig 19:10, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

That is correct. GunMetal Angel

The Dark Knight

This is one of the best movies I saw in years. It was amazing. Especially the Joker.

Why so Serious?
— The Joker

I have to get a T-Shirt with that or another one of his quotes on it. User:Seablue254/sig 15:39, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Quick Question

No ofence, but this is now the third time. My question is - What kind of job did you want? I'm curious... User:Seablue254/sig 23:38, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Whatever pays me money. User:Ando/sig 23:43, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
May I have some examples? User:Seablue254/sig 23:48, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

??? Like I said, absolutely whatever. I'm not just trying to get a cashier job or whatever. I'm applying anywhere and everywhere that will hire a 16-year-old, regardless of what the job is. I'll bus tables! I'll mow someone's lawn! I'll take care of your DOG, for crying out loud, someone just HIRE ME ALREADY. User:Ando/sig 00:08, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

I'll give you a 75-25 split if you fly to NY and take care of mowing the front lawn for me. (Just kidding) Anyway, I'm happy that I get 10 dollars a week for mowing the lawn + allowance. Until I actually need a job, I don't need that. User:Seablue254/sig 00:10, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh yes, do you know what your career might be? (Also curious) User:Seablue254/sig 00:11, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Likely game artist or game musician, hopefully with Nintendo (considering they're in Japan, where I'd like to move to someday); failing that, working with Rare. User:Ando/sig 00:13, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
I better see your name on The Last Zelda Game's credits. Anyways, I would like it known that I unlocked all characters in SSBB, and now i'll take your friend code/whatever. Ready to brawl whenever. User:Seablue254/sig 00:15, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Language

  1. What's Homestar Runner? Something fun I should be invited too?
  2. Still, the question is "Why is "Damn" an inappropriate word?" Doesn't sound that bad to me... User:Seablue254/sig 15:37, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, it is a little stronger than others. Use sparingly. Try toning it down, a little bit.User:Mjr162006/sig 15:53, July 27, 2008 (UTC)
I don't see how strong it is, when it is used a lot more often than the others. User:Seablue254/sig 15:59, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Y-you don't know what Homestar Runner is?? Where on earth have you been?! Get over there, now!
Also, have you never experienced what is essentially the un-written list of swears-types words? For some, "crap" and "friggin'" and such are on that list as well (heck, I know someone for whom "darn" is on the list). But the basic list of unacceptable-in-regular-society words is (this is a brief list, but) p-word, d-word, a-word, s-word, f-word, c-word, in that order. So yeah, the d-word's pretty low there, but still THERE. For someone who gets all uppity when talking about the possibility of his little brother coming on and finding these words, you sure don't seem to be too bothered by it now. :/ User:Ando/sig 16:18, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

True...fine. And I know the unwritten list. Parents use those words, you know. Oh, and I changed my mind because it ocurred to me my brothers never come here. User:Seablue254/sig 16:28, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, my parents don't. :/ Plus, just because your brothers don't come here, doesn't mean that other younger people don't -- I mean, we've got a few 12-year-olds here, and probably some younger people as well. I think that the last thing we want is little 9-year-old Johnny's mom walking by the computer seeing "$@!#%(#*$@^%&(#*^^$@!*^%" and saying "JOHNNY THIS IS A BAD SITE DO NOT VISIT IT". So just... yeah, tone it down. Also, just to say, if it were the d-word by itself I probably wouldn't have edited it - but I figured that since I was there, I'd edit it anyway. User:Ando/sig 17:04, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah...OK I'll stop using that word.....oh yeah, Homestar Runner is FUNNY! Got anymore sites like that? I've also seen various videos on youtube you might like, like The Barrel Roll Song or Link Vs. Starfox (In Pokémon Red/Blue Style Fighting!) (Link Vs. Starfox has the p word once or twice though.) User:Seablue254/sig 17:37, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
Quick, Did you watch the videos ? Also, any more good sites I should know about? User:Seablue254/sig 22:26, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I've seen them before, yeah. I particularly like the Barrel Roll Song. I think I've seen all of YouTube's barrel roll stuff, actually. :P
As for other sites, um, I don't know. I don't really keep a "list of sites I gotta tell people 'bout", it's all mainly just a "haha, I go to x sometimes" or "I just found this site and you should go" sort of thing. But, uh, maybe... Awesome Video Games? Although you may not get most of it; the vast majority of it references stuff before your time. User:Ando/sig 22:29, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Dude, Zelda is before my time and that doesn't stop me from coming here. User:Seablue254/sig 22:36, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
I wanna share something important with you in the chatroom, if you don't mind heading that way User:Seablue254/sig 13:45, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Awesome!

Glad to see someone who actually cares enough about completion to have numbers played through recorded, and percentages down. Good for you! I'm especially glad to see that Majora's Mask has warranted the most of your time, and that it has been completely finished. What's your least favourite Zelda game, by the way? I'm going to take a wild guess here; a stab in the dark. ...The Adventure of link? It's really the only choice (unless you own Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, which is just plain creepy. Nausiating, even). Rob 64 02:22, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Rob 64Reply[reply]

You don't like The Adventure of Link? I thought I was the only one who didn't like it... ... ... Ah, sarcasm.User:Mjr162006/sig 02:59, July 29, 2008 (UTC)
Yep. I love to keep track of my playthroughs in games and such. To show just how far I'll go to 100% a game, I made a checklist and went through Children of Mana, which is just about the worst game ever; it took me a year and a half of almost not playing at all, but now that I've completed it I never have to touch it again! YESSS
As for my least favorite Zelda game... I guess that I have to think of the one that I enjoy playing the least? Well, as I'm sure you're aware, there are several that I've yet to beat due to time / battery constraints (stupid Game Boy Color suckin' up all me batteries)... I'm inclined to say Four Swords Adventures, but I've beaten it so its playability for me is a little shot, whereas I've yet to beat The Adventure of Link, but I quite enjoy that one... Hm... A conundrum. I'm honestly tempted to say Twilight Princess. It seemed too much like it was trying to be the next Ocarina of Time or whatever, but they focused too much on that and not enough on just making a great game. Not that TP isn't good! Just not the best.
Uh... I don't really have a "least favorite", and I probably won't until I've beaten each game at least once. Once I have, though, I'll get back to you. :P User:Ando/sig 03:30, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Nah, no FPTRR here. Importing it is more expensive than just buying it here, but it's not out here, and I'm jobless. One of these days, though, one of these days.
AoL sucks in my opinion. It's hard for me just to get to the dang SECOND DUNGEON. I gace up on that a while ago. The only way I'll ever beat it is with my brother gameshark or something. User:Seablue254/sig 13:57, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Here here. Though I think I beat the second dungeon in Adventure of Link. I'm going to need to finish it all one day.
I don't think Four Swords Adventures should be the worst; sure it wasn't the best, but it was quite clever nonetheless, and there weren't really any problems with the gameplay. I only wish they didn't use A Link to the Past's graphics as a basis.
Twilight Princess certainly doesn't belong on that list! Though I can only speak for myself, the similarities were what made Twilight Princess so great - especially Hyrule's geography I thought - but that's only because I love continuity and consistency (which is why despite owning both versions, I only play the GCN version of Twilight Princess now), and I can sort of understand where you're coming from, I guess.
Yeah, in my opinion, Adventure of Link is the worst simply because of the difficulty level; if you want to get anywhere in the game, you need to stick around in one place and level up for days, and that is unbelievably tedious.
When you can, I certainly recommend you get Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. It's not all that Zelda-esque, and it features Tingle as a main character, but that aside it is a very unique and... I'm gonna say 'interesting' game. Rob 64 14:26, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Rob 64Reply[reply]
Why would I want Tingle's game? He already got me mad enough searching FOREVER to find enough rupees to read my Triforce Charts. User:Seablue254/sig 14:35, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
For the same reason you buy Zelda games; it's fun. And you play as Tingle yourself, so he can't charge you anything. Aw, c'mon, you can never be short of money in The Wind Waker. More than half of the treasure charts lead to chests with silver rupees in them, and almost every sea platform and secret cave yields cash. Savage labyrinth is always good, too. Yeah, but as Ando says, it isn't sold in the US :(. Anyway, I still kept being short on cash. How, I don't know. User:Seablue254/sig 15:12, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Importing it can't cost that much, surely? Although, I guess Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland isn't exactly a priority game, huh? Still, I personally have to have every Zelda game ever (some weird almost-but-not-quite-OCD condition that only seems to exist when it comes to videogames. Read my user page if anyone even cares), and I recently bought the Japan-only Tingle's Balloon Fight, from eBay UK. It's not even a proper Zelda game, but dammit, it belongs in the spin-offs list, and so I'm going to finish everything it has to offer, and to a 100% completion!
Did you collect all of the charts and treasures? In fact, are you a completionist, too? Rob 64 15:49, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You got Tingle's Balloon Fight?! You jerk! I haven't gotten that yet. :P After looking around on eBay, the best price I saw for the European copy of FPTRR was $43 plus shipping, and given that most DS games here are $30-35... Although the Japanese copy I saw was $28, so perhaps I should go for that?
Gotta say, I suffer from the "gotta have all the Zelda games" syndrome, too. Heck, most of my money that I get goes towards getting something Zelda that I don't have. :P I need to replace my Oracle of Seasons because I just discovered that it's an Australian copy. Doesn't flow very well next to the American copies of everything else. I still need to get Four Swords, too... And the aforementioned Tingle games. And a load of merchandise (like the TP DS trailer or The Wind Waker scroll *drool*). No wonder I never have money. User:Ando/sig 18:18, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Go for it if you can understand Japanese, but I suggest looking for an English copy (haha! It's the Queen's English! Thank you Nintendo of Europe!). Well, living in the UK, I import games from Gamestop. It's fairly expensive with shipping, but those of you in the US won't need to bother with that. Sorry, I can't work in dollars.
Awesome! I've never met anyone else who feels that way! I only buy games of the same region, too. I ordered Phantom Hourglass from the US since the UK release was later, I played through it, and then sold it. Bought the UK version later to play through 100%.
One thing I don't like about the region differences is that on the sides of the boxes in the US, the titles are usually the games' logos, but in the UK they're always plain text. I have a copy of Star Fox Adventures (uses the logo is all regions) which looks out of place next to my copy of Star Fox: Assault (which only uses the logo in America). If you care about keeping your regions consistent, I definitely suggest the English FPTRR, though it doesn't matter either way for you, living in the ol' US of A. Slightly easier across the pond, though unavoidable with TBF, which is only in Japanese.
Ah, I forgot about the TP DS trailer card! Is that easy to find, do you know?
Anyway, remember everyone, butchery of the Queen's English is a slur on her great name. Ripping the 'u's out of 'colour', and such. I don't know... *tuts loadly and shakes his head*
By the way, who here has played Four Swords? I want to (actually, I need to) but I don't know anyone else with a copy, and I don't want to have to buy two, but I'm probably going to have to. Heh, is it playable with one person playing two GBAs at once? Rob 64 20:07, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have a GBA ALttP which comes with both ALttP and 4 Swords...I should probably add that to may page. As for "butchering the Queen's language", let's remember it was you guys who persecuted the first founders of America. I find it fair we butcher your language for you ridiculous taxes. My absence

So you guys may have noticed that I haven't been in for a while. That's because for the past few days I've been in bed with (what is assumed to be) pneumonia. Woo-hoo!
I'll still be jumping in every now and then to check for vandals and such, but the actual patrolling-of-edits is going to be quite backlogged for a while (unless Adam feels like playing a little catch-up for me? :D). Stay radical. User:Ando/sig 14:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I've noticed that. Because I don't own all the Zelda games, therefore meaning that I'm not one to add knowledge to pages, until I actually finish some games and start buying some classics, I usually look at he recent changes too. I've been noticing and saying "Where's Matt and Ando?". You both have been gone. Anyway, I hope you get better soon. User:Seablue254/sig 14:44, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
