Fulfill the prophecy!
The dark lord Ganondorf has stolen the Triforce and is threatening Hyrule with his evil plans! A prophecy has foretold that a chosen individual wielding a special item is the only one who can defeat Ganondorf. It is us to you and your companions to travel through Hyrule and figure out who the chosen one is, what weapon they must wield in the fight against Ganondorf, and where Ganondorf has established his hidden lair...
