Template:Character The Informant Women are characters in A Link to the Past.[1]

Biography

In Kakariko Village, Link meets the two women who inform the guards of his presence when he talks to them.[2] Right after any of them inform the soldiers of Link's presence, they run into their respective houses, locking the door behind them. The door will stay locked until Link leaves the area, only going back outside once he's gone.

The woman wearing a blue dress lives in the house directly west of the Street Merchant. Her house contains a special Cucco that turns into a woman similar to her when Link sprinkles Magic Powder on it.[3] In its human form, the Cucco scolds Link for teasing the other Cuccos.[4]

The woman wearing a yellow dress lives in the house directly north of the Kakariko Inn. Her house contains a portrait of Mario that has four Blue Rupees that pop out when Link pulls on it. She can be seen with the Bug-Catching Kid and the Innkeeper during the ending credits.
