Template:Character The Faux Hero is a character in Tri Force Heroes.[1] He is a young boy who wishes to become Hytopia's hero, but does not have the right qualifications. He gives Link Friendly Tokens when he plays with friends over local multiplayer and Download Play.[2]

Biography

The Faux Hero can be found in front of Hytopia Castle. He tries to get inside the castle and insists that he is the kingdom's true hero,[3] but is not allowed in as his appearance does not fit the King's specifications,[4] likely because he has round ears.[5] He reacts with shock and confusion when Link is allowed inside.[6][7]

Although the Faux Hero is never allowed inside the castle, he can still be found in front of it. He boasts that he is very popular, and has 15 Friendly Tokens to prove it.[8][9] He will give Link Friendly Tokens for every friend he has played with over local multiplayer or Download Play.

Trivia

  • Although Link can purchase Friendly Tokens from the Street Merchant following the 2.0.0 update, the Faux Hero will not acknowledge Link's possession of them when spoken to.
