Template:Dungeon Death Mountain is a stage from Four Swords.

Features and Overview

As in its other appearances, Death Mountain is an active volcano with exposed rock and pools of lava. Its guardian is the Great Fairy of Fire, and its symbol is the Fire Element. The ubiquitous lava and flames make the area quite hazardous, although the flames can be cleared with the Links' swords.

After clearing Death Mountain's two floors, the Links encounter the level's boss, Gouen. Upon defeating the monster, the Great Fairy of Fire will appear to award the Links with one of the Great Keys. The type of key obtained depends on the number of Rupees obtained and how many times the level has been cleared.

Trivia

  • Death Mountain is the only stage in Four Swords that is a recurring geographical feature in Hyrule. The other land-bound stages, or at least their names, are never reused, although Vaati's Palace is implied to be the same as the Palace of Winds.
