Master Ore is found across Lorule in large chests. These chests can be found in the Dark Palace, Thieves' Hideout, Skull Woods, and the Sanctuary of Lorule. Master Ore is required to upgrade the Master Sword. Each upgrade requires two pieces of Master Ore. The first upgrade is done by the Blacksmith in Hyrule, and the second upgrade is done by the Blacksmith in Lorule. Each time the Master Sword is upgraded, its attack power is doubled.
