Thanks for the pointers, I just have two questions. Are there any specific rules I have to stick to when editing things onto my page? And how do I reply to Discussions like this (How do I format this reply properly)? [[User:Sikora360|Sikora]] 10:47, 17 January 2013 (UTC)

Hey there

Hey there, Sikora! Just dropping in to congratulate you on your contributions to the wiki so far, and to point out a few things that you should watch out for. When uploading files, please use lowercase file extensions (for example, .jpg as opposed to .JPG) as this is wiki policy. You can change the extension of the image you're about to upload (along with the rest of the name) by editing the "Destination filename" field of the upload form. Also, when uploading official artwork or any in-game image, make sure to tag it as a copyrighted image by selecting "All copyrighted images" from the "Licensing" dropdown on the upload form. Lastly, when replacing an image like you did for that Boko Baba render, please tag the old picture for deletion using Template:Imdel. To tag a replaced file for deletion, you would type {{Imdel|sup|Insert name of new file here}} on the old file's page.

Oh, and if you got an image yourself, like this one, you can just leave the "source" field blank. When it's blank everyone can assume that it came from you and not somewhere else.

I understand this might be a lot to absorb all at once, so if you have any questions about this or anything else about the wiki don't hesitate to ask me or any of the other active staff and we'll gladly answer your questions. Overall, though, you're doing just fine and we hope we'll be seeing more from you in the future. :) — Hylian King [*] 22:53, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
