Staltroops share a similar appearance with [[ReDead#Twilight Princess|ReDead Knights]], however, their non-aggressive temperament and lack of a weapon are the main distinguishing traits between the two. {{{2}}} are specialized enemies that appear only in Twilight Princess, during Link's battle with Stallord at the Arbiter's Grounds.

Staltroops are similar in appearance to ReDead Knights, however, the Staltroop's passive temperament and overall slighter form, as well as its endemicity to Stallord's chamber at the Arbiter's Grounds, can be used as distinguishing factors between the two. These foes seem to materialize from the sand in waves, forming barricades with their own bodies to deflect Link's Spinner as he attempts to reach Stallord's vulnerable spine. Although a single hit reduces them to sand, these foes respawn at an infinite rate - their purpose is only to deter Link from defeating Stallord, not to attack.

Trivia

These foes add a minor comedic appeal to the boss battle with Stallord; because of the bouncy, ricochete-like aftereffect Link experiences after striking a Staltroop, the overall feel of the battle is slightly reminiscent of a pinball game.
