Hey Itachou, Cip here - first of all, the edits to the Link page are awesome, thanks for updating it so thoroughly with information from Hyrule Historia! The organization looks great, and its is much less cluttered! :) Two things: an edit of this size and magnitude ''needs'' to be discussed before it occurs. This is the way of life on this wiki, and this very policy is echoed several times throughout the [[Help Guide]]. We discuss so that if there is any disagreement over a large-scale contribution like this, we can iron out the finks before it goes up - this edit was done without consulting any other editors, and for that alone it should be reverted. This wiki is all about discussion, discussion, discussion - Hyrule Historia is getting us all excited, but we still need to make sure everyone is on the same page, especially when a large edit pertains to a high-profile page like this one. | |||
After discussing with the other admins, we have agreed to adopt your edit, but make it even more navigationally-friendly, given it took you three hours to do. (Truthfully, we should just revert it and start up a discussion about it, but we're not malicious) To make it more Hyrule Historia friendly, we're going to organize it more clearly to each timeline: Adult, Child, Decline. So that people not only understand that there are separate Links, but an overall cohesiveness tying his importance together throught the series. | |||
