- This article is about the stone effigy of a Loftwing used as a gateway to The Sky. You may be looking for the Bird Statuette, an item used in the Wing Ceremony.
Bird Statues are stone effigies of Loftwings similar in appearance to the Bird Statuette, that function similarly to the Owl Statues in Majora's Mask.[1]
Uses
The Loftwing Statues primarily serve both as the save feature of Skyward Sword, and as a gateway to The Sky. When in a dungeon, they can be used similarly to Ooccoo and Ooccoo Jr. from Twilight Princess.[citation needed] The statues also have a retrospective feature, allowing Link to see how the story went so far.[2]
