Template:Boss A {{{2}}} is the mini-boss inside the Deku Tree in Ocarina of Time. They are the three Deku Scrubs which guard the entrance to Queen Gohma's room.
Their basement is only accessible when Link destroy the thick web on floor of the second basement through the use of fire. In order to face the boss, this three Deku Scrubs must be defeated in the correct order, which is second in line, third in line, and first in line; a secret revealed by Deku Scrub defeated previously in the dungeon. This can be remembered using twenty-three is number one.[1] When Link beats them, they reveal to Link the strategy to use in order to defeat Queen Gohma.[2]
In the Master Quest version of the game, the Deku Scrub that reveals the code for accessing the boss's room is replaced by a Mad Scrub, and the order to defeat the three Deku Scrubs is third in line, first in line, and second in line.
