Hi, I have a question. Some of the pages related to the episodes of the animated Zelda series describe said episodes' goofs or mistakes. I was thinking about moving those pieces of info [[Goofs in The Legend of Zelda Series|here]], which for now focuses on the games. What do you say? =) --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 23:05, 2 December 2010 (EST)

:Hmm...having the info on both pages wouldn't be bad. ;) [[User:Dany36|Dany36]] 23:07, 2 December 2010 (EST)

::Done. Copied the info from the involved pages, and then specified from which episode each goof comes from. --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 23:24, 2 December 2010 (EST)

First and foremost, happy new year =D. Now, I am thinking on adding a new field to the infobox of the Places template, it's the Quest Reward(s) field that is now in the Dungeon infobox. As you know, some of the major quest items in the series are found outside the dungeons (such as the Light Medallion in OOT, Nayru's Pearl and Triforce Charts in TWW, or the number of Pieces of Heart in every place where they are). However, being this a rarity in comparison to the quest items awarded in the dungeons, I would like to consult an admin if it's a good idea. Thanks in advance, and please give the new year's greet to the ZW staff for me =) --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 00:21, 4 January 2011 (EST)

:Happy New Year to you too! As for the quest items field, I don't think that will be necessary to add to the Place template since we already have an Item(s) field, so you can put them there. :) [[User:Dany36|Dany36]] 00:14, 4 January 2011 (EST)

::OK, thanks for the advice. By the way, before you replied, I didn't see this section after I saved the post. I checked the edit revision to see if I did something wrong, but it just wasn't visible until now. And when the section became visible and you replied, I saw '''your''' signature where mine should be O_o (though I already fixed that). This wiki is definitely haunted O_o --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 00:21, 4 January 2011 (EST)

:::Hahaha, no joke! I couldn't see it either when I came to the talk page, but it turns out that Hylian King had typed <nowiki><choose></nowiki> without using the nowiki tags, which caused for everything after it to disappear. XD [[User:Dany36|Dany36]] 00:25, 4 January 2011 (EST)

:Hey, good job at harmonizing the quest fields in the dungeon articles =). I have a new question: Currently, I'm trying to fill the Items field in every Place article, listing the weapons and goods you can find there. The problem is... certain items are in locations ''within larger places'', and having their own articles. This makes me wonder if, for example, I should mention the total number of Heart Pieces in [[East Clock Town]], including those inside Anju's Inn or the Mayor's Residence, or only the ones found in the outside part (since, technically, stuff like the Couple's Mask are inside the Inn, not necessarily in what the game identifies as "East Clock Town"). I hope you know what I'm trying to say, and thanks in advance. --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 16:09, 5 January 2011 (EST)

::::Whoops, sorry for the late reply, I get distracted easily. XD Ummmm...I'd say go with mentioning the ones that are found within other places...that makes the most sense to me. ;P [[User:Dany36|Dany36]]

Last time, I tried to switch the Wikipedia links in the [[Cameos of The Legend of Zelda]] page for NIWA links (Metroid Wiki, Super Mario Wiki, etc.) wherever necessary. It's not working with the Donkey Kong Wiki, sadly. When I use the '''<nowiki>[[dk:]]</nowiki>''' code with the intention to link the name of a DK game to its pertinent DK Wiki article, what actually happens is that MediaWiki tries to link it to a supposed Danish Zelda Wiki (!!!) that should have the Cameos page as well (!!!). This probably happens because the '''dk''' code belongs to the Danish internet domains or something. I didn't notice this when I first edited the article, but now that I did I have no idea on how to pinpoint the DK Wiki article instead of a nonexistent Danish wiki site. Ideas for a solution? Thanks in advance! --[[User:K2L|K2L]] ([[User talk:K2L|Interrogatory]]) 23:00, 11 February 2011 (EST)

:Your theory sounds about right, even though it links to DKWiki for me, and not ZW. Still, we don't want our links in the language sidebar. You should use '''<nowiki>[[DKWiki:]]</nowiki>''' instead. {{:User:Abdullah/sig}} 23:26, 11 February 2011 (EST)

:::We've already changed it to a new shortcut. It happened because "dk" is reserved as language link by the wikisoftware. We don't yet know how to override this For now we just have to avoid setting up new interwiki links that use a reserved language abbreviation.{{:User:Matt/sig|~}} 04:37, February 12, 2011 (UTC)
